When starting on your baking ventures did you start out doing just cupcakes, just cakes or both? How did you transition?

I started out cakes only. Then I had a request for cupcakes a few weeks ago and ever since I made those I have been getting calls for cupcakes. I guess they were TDF, lol. SO, so far I only have 2 kinds that I have made. Chocolate (RBI recipe) filled with chocolate whipped cream and dipped in dark chocolate ganache and Sweet almond with cheesecake whip filling and semi sweet ganache.

I guess I will be doing more cupcakes as well but feel like I should offer a few more flavors. I dont want to offer tons, but what I do offer to be fabulous.

You can search through recipes on this forum, or online, and try them out. I usually send them to work with my husband and get feedback from the guys there. Once you know it is a good recipe and it is to your liking, make up a list of all the flavors you offer. I am not sure how you advertise (mine is mostly Facebook based) but I usually add a list of all of the flavors to my page or show it to them when we have a consultation to let them know.
