I was at a party last weekend and was inspecting cookies made from a  bakery. The baby's name was printed on them, but I couldn't find any sign of edible paper. The name was printed in what looked like edible ink, (it looked like a new ink cartridge was needed).   Does anyone know how to print on to royal icing?

I found a thread from a few years ago that talked about it, but no real answers. One person made a comment about a printer that prints on to the cookie directly, but that company is out of business.

Here is the link from the old conversation.

Any help is appreciated. TIA'

Maybe a stamp? Or rice paper?
