What is the best way to clean piping bags?  I have found hand washing with laundry detergent works for me, but is it better to clean them in the dishwasher or just replace them when they get stained and ugly?

I have always used Dawn dish soap to clean mine...and then hung them on a line with clothespins to dry.  Just a couple small nails on each of the cupboards above the sink, string a cord between the nails and pin up the bags to dry. Now I am wondering how others care for theirs. icon_smile.gif

I used to wash in either dishwashing  detergent or laundry detergent.  Now I used disposable ones  and throw away.  Much easier, especially when dealing with buttery substances.

Dawn dishsoap and hang to dry. I have used disposable ones but the slick plastic gives me less grip/control and my hands get so tired!
