AHello everyone! I'm looking for a tylose powder that is safe for those with nut allergies and also vegan. Every one I have seen says may contain nuts orr proessed in a facility with nuts. All my cakes are nut free so I need a substitute! Could I use something else or is there a brand that is safe. Does anyone else make nut free cakes that can maybe help me? Thank you!

PM Jason Kraft.  He is very experienced with nut free ingredients.  He has a nut allergy.

Good Luck

AWe've never used Tylose powder so I can't provide any sources, but if you contact the mfr for the product that is processed in the same facility as nuts you can ask how they handle cross contamination. Usually products processed in the same facility are safe and products processed on the same equipment are not.

Did you check the brand by Confectionery Arts International. I don't have any right now to look at the label. I don't use any CK stuff, because of their label declarations.
