I've been reading some of the past threads about these cakes.  I thought I had it figured out to do my first one next week, but now I'm second guessing my pan choices.  First for the "boobs" I was going to use the Wilton 3D ball pan, each half would be a boob. Second I was going to purchase the Wilton soccer ball pan to do the "belly".  But then I remembered I had a dish I can bake in that's about that same size.  But I'm wondering if the "boobs" made out of that 3D ball pan will be too big...and look funny with the belly.  Has anyone used these pans together?  PS the Michael's close to me doesn't have those mini wonder ball pans by Wilton.

I bought mine at Ikea, the brand is Blanda Blank and they baked perfectly. I just used a rose-nail when I baked to distribute the heat. They are very unexpensive and they had different sizes so you can pick the size to fit the boobs too. I just guess-estimated the proportions. I don't upload my cakes here anymore, but if you wanna see a pic of my belly cake I can send it to you.

Good luck!

I use the Wilton 3D Ball pans for the boobs, and  stack regular 10'' or 12" round cakes for the belly. I've never purchased any other preformed pan large enough for the belly so I just carve the edges off to make it round. It always turns out fine for me.

I just use one of my large stainless steal bowls and a couple of my little bowls that came with my dinnerware.  Works pretty good.

AI use 2 4" rounds for the boobies and 2 8" filled and stacked then carve away. I think a good thick buttercream under fondant is the key though.

Thank you for all your help, I did it with bowls that I had at home and just heaped up the buttercream to make them more round in the middle.  I don't think it was too bad for my first attempt, and I now know other things I can do to make it better next time.

I actually found a footprint online and printed it to use as a templet. I got a blob of fondant and put it on the paper to sculpt the basic shape of the foot. I peeled it off the paper and then shaped it a little better and smoothed it out some. Then I made the little toes and gently smashed them onto the foot. They stuck pretty good and I used no water or gum paste glue. It was really easy (believe me I'm not a sculpture at all) it was the funniest part of the cake for me. Lol
