I made a huge batch of buttercream. It came out too soft. Is there anything I can add to it to stiffin it?

AYou probably can add powered sugar to it. I've read that you can add a small amount of cornstarch too. .

I am thinking that you could add more powdered sugar to it, and if it gets too sweet, add a little salt.
