I am making a cake for 80 people in June. I was wondering about tiers and sizes. I would prefer no more than 3 tiers.. not sure if that is possible. Also, they will be picking up the cake so how would this hold in transportation?

Thanks in advance for any helps/tips icon_smile.gif

May be this will help you http://www.thebakerspantryco.com/cake-guides/ If you support your cakes with enough dowels it should not be a problem for transportation.

AUse SPS for support. It was created for bakeries who don't deliver. Customers can pick up their own cake and it will be stable.
