I think I've come up against the language barrier again. I notice a lot of you say you torte and fill your cakes. How exactly is torteing a cake? No doubt it's probably something I already do but call something else but it would be nice to know

It's just using a filling in between layers or splitting the layers and filling between them. You probably have done this icon_smile.gif

Thanks I certainly have used this technique but we don't have a specfic name for it
