Hi All!

I'm more of a cake gal, but I want to make homemade peanut butter cups for my friend. Can anyone give me a suggestion of what chocolate to use? Those candy melts make me want to ralph, so I can't imagine using them icon_redface.gif  I'm assuming a chocolate bar or chocolate chips won't harden enough, so I'm coming to the experts.

Thank you!

I used to make these all the time when I was a kid. I always used regular chocolate chips to make them. They hardened just fine.

AJacques Torres has a YouTube video showing how to temper and mold regular chocolate.
