Ahi can anyone tell me how do i go about making a box cake with a shirt on it and also the collar for the shirt
Ai can do the shirt just trying to figure out how to make the box and collar
Well, the box is just a rectangular cake (layered to make it as big as you want it), covered in fondant. The tissue paper is either thinly-rolled fondant or gumpaste (or a combo), folded to look like crumpled paper. The shirt cake is then just set on top of that. The box could also be a dummy cake. Hard to tell.
The collar is formed from a piece of fondant. It's a bit fiddly, and may take a couple of tries to get it looking just right. There are a couple of tutorials online that were helpful to me when I made mine, found with the help of Mr. Google. :-)
ARoyal Bakery has a great tutorial on this. And its really cheap! You can find her on Facebook.
AThe collar is formed by fondant but not quite sure about the box..could be not a cake at all but a support for the cake? Hard to tell in the pic. Hope this helps a bit;)
