I successfully pulled off my first small wedding cake and cupcakes for a 70-person wedding this weekend.  It was the first time I "charged" someone for a cake I made. Since I'm in PA, I only charged cost of ingredients, and definitely lost money on the deal, but it was a great experience and I added a bunch of new cake tools to my collection.

This forum was a huge help for information and questions along the way.  I'm definitely not going to be a cake decorator by trade any time soon, but it's a fun project every now and then!
