Hi all
I know my Q. sound silly but I need to know about every things about fondant ,so if I want to make any shape like stars or circles or strip colours ,do I have to add tylose powder with them to be tight ,
Please look at this pic to let u understand what I am saying

Hi Nonabassam. Not a silly question at all; we all had to learn everything we know and we all continue to learn with support and guidance from each other.

I don't add tylose powder to the fondant when flat shapes, such as those in your photo, are flat against the cake. They don't need to go hard, are supported by the cake surface and will taste better without the tylose. If I were making a model (say an animal or person) then I would add tylose; this would make it go harder and less likely to fall apart.
