AHey guys. Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice/tips on these areas:

I made cupcakes for from cake mix weeks ago, ended up crumbling a dozen of them cus there were too many cupcakes. They have been sitting in the fridge since then and I don't know if they're still edible? I was thinking of making some cake pops with them but I'm not too sure if they're even still safe to eat.

Also, I've been wanting to try out fondant cupcake toppers but I don't know how to get started! Should I start out with a store bought premade fondant or should I try making my own? I've always heard about how people don't really end up eating fondant bought from stores (too sweet?)

I would appreciate any advice! Thank you! :D

AWhen in doubt, throw it out.

Making fondant can be a lot of work. For playing around, I would suggest purchased. I really like a mix of Fondarific & Pettinice. Another popular choice is Satin ice. Wilton is awful for taste & workability.
