Hello everyone, i am new to cake decorating, i have been looking at this site for ages but never had the courage to get on and post. I love how so many of you are so willing to help others with your knowledge and take the time to answer peoples questions.

I really enjoy making cakes and have only done it for family and friends but I recently I received an order from a friend of a friend to make her daughters birthday cake. So I got all the details, choc mud, cut into three and ganached on all layers plus ganache on outside of cake.  9inch for 25 ppl etc. She paid $100 for this cake, I have noticed people really have a way of making you feel bad for what you charge

So, my question is.. what would you charge for a cake like this ? Thanks for your help
