AMy hubby is out of town and I have three sleeping babies. And of course, I ran out of granulated sugar. My only option is to make it with brown sugar. I need it for tomorrow afternoon.
Has anyone tasted it or had success with making it? Should I keep my ratios the same?
Thanks in advance!
I'm not much help as I haven't make it, however I have heard it is more of a caramel flavour and the colour is more golden.

As long as it tastes good, that's all that matters. Five year olds eat anything with sugar in it. Lol
this may help...

if not I hope someone else comes online :)
Yep, you should be fine. Keep your ratios the same. Others I've seen bump up the brown sugar by 1 or 2 oz; I don't.
AI have to say, this came out amazing! I love my regular smbc, but from now on I may just have to add some brown sugar. It adds depth to the flavor. So happy with it!
Thanks again for your quick replies.
I have made it plenty of times. I love it. the taste is amazing.I is delicious with banana cakes.
