GRRRRR...

This is a vent!!! I just spent the last 2 hours making 200 fondant hydrangea flowers. My husband came home, so I left the room to greet him for 2 minutes. I know it was 2 minutes because the pasta had 2 minutes left on the timer. I came back in the kitchen when the timer beeped -- my 4 year old and 2 year old ate 30 of them. Not 4 or 5...30!!!

How is that even possible? *sigh* icon_cry.gif

I once worked on flowers for a competition cake and left the room for a couple of minutes and the cat swatted them off the work table...........yep, 40 hrs of work shattered on the floor!

Oh that is so my baby! When I am all done with a cake & open the gate, my 2 year old comes to scour the floor hoping I've dropped some frosting. He'll run into the bakery & jump up on the chair hoping he can reach a leaf or petal or bow. Thu are so fast!

It's never "just cake!"

You may get a cake for $way to little but you won't get this cake!

Oh no that really stinks! I have a 2, 3 and 6 year old and I can definitely see that happening to me one day. They are always begging for cake or whatever I am working on. They haven't snuck anything yet but I know it's coming!

I bet the two kids were in hyper drive after eating all of that sugar!!!! It only takes seconds for kids to get into things!!! Funny but not funny!!!!  I feel for you!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry! But, I have to say, I'm really impressed that you could make 200 in 2 hours! It takes me that long to make about 50.

Should've said "cutting" 200 hydrangeas.  Had them cut and under saran wrap while I was veining them, the sad thing was they ate the finished ones, not the just cut ones! Stinkers...have their mama's sugar gene!

I'm sorry, but it will be funny later? LOL
I came into the kitchen once to find most of a Sebastian (little mermaid ) figure gone. All that was left were a few red claws! My 3 year old niece immediately admitted eating it. When I asked her why she replied, "Because he was delicious!"

icon_lol.gif Ahh, OK, now I'm not feeling quite so inadequate! Of course they ate the finished ones, they're prettier! icon_smile.gif

Oh how sad.. I'm so sorry all your hard work is gone.  I have to watch things like a hawk when I'm making personal projects from home.  Between my mother, grandbabies and all the other kids in the neighborhood, its touch first ask later.
