Has anyone used the plastic chocolate molds with fondant/gumpaste ?

I have a plastic mold but wanted to try putting fondant/tylose in it and see if that would work?

I read in one of the other threads to try freezing it perhaps? Is there any other tips or tricks that would work for something like this?

AYes, in deed, I use them quite a bit when working in fondant/gumpaste. Since, 2008, I either use a thin coating of shortening and wipe the mold out before pressing the fondant/gumpaste in the mold or dust the mold with a little cornstarch/powder sugar mix. I try not to overfill the mold with large amounts of fondant/gumpaste also. I have been learning to level the gumpaste with a small pointed, angle spatula, I saw that technique on You-tube, I thing with the Winebecklers. I love their tutorials. I hope all this makes sense. Best Wishes!
