I have my 1st 1/2 sheet cake customer order coming up and I'm looking for an awesome, moist, flavorful chocolate cake recipe!
I love the Deluxe Devil's food cake recipe on the Softasilk cake flour box (and I have tried many recipes). I frequently make it in an 11 x 15 pan. 1.5 times the recipe is perfect for that size pan. For a half sheet cake (12 x 18) doubling it should be perfect. This has a very deep chocolate flavor, but is not dense. It is also easy to make. For your size pan, I would recommend several heat core nails, and would wrap the outside with bake even strips. Good luck!
I think it is OK to post it since it available on the internet.
