AI'm making a plants vs zombies cake for my nephew. I bought some plastic figurines and can't figure out how to anchor them to the cake without anything showing. Please help! Party is in 12 hours!

Oh wow--All that comes to mind is some royal icing on the bottoms (but dont put them on till you get to the party as they wont have a solid anchor to not tip over from the trip)

GOOD LUCK!

AThe figurines barely stand up on the table, I'm thinking to have a really hard time on fondant! I hope the royal icing will work. I'm taking my brains to figure on how I can attach a stick to the feet.

What about a little melted chocolate (candy melts) on the bottoms. When that stuff hardens, it sticks like crazy.

A@ dawnybird

Thank you for the candy melts suggestion! I think that might just do the trick. Thank goodness Wal-Mart is open 24 hours!!!

AHow about a little hole in the bottom of the figurine then insert a wooden skewer half way other half into cake:D

How did your cake turn out??? What did you end up using to keep them on?

AI really wanted to finish the cake last night so I hot glued toothpicks onto the legs of the zombies and placed them right before the party started. The cake came out great. My proportions of the pool was slightly off. Other than that, . I'm petty happy with it. Thanks!!! [IMG ALT=""]http://cakecentral.com/content/type/61/id/2972661/width/350/height/700[/IMG
