Can you buy a brand new printer designed for normal printing and use it as an edible printer?

I read on another site that you can. Sorry, don't remember what site it was.

Depends on the printer. Yes some are usable with edible ink. I purchase mine from Edile Images. You can check their website for a list I printers. Most are Epson or Canon

It's never "just cake!"

You may get a cake for $way to little but you won't get this cake!

I've been looking into that and you have to make sure that it's compatible with the edible ink cartridges. I'm pretty sure I read it on the Kopykake website. HTH
