Hey all,

 

I love the cupcakes in this picture

and am wondering, what exactly are the blue disks/decorations made of? Gumpaste? Fondant?

Also, any idea what gel color to use to get that shade of hot pink in my buttercream?

AAmericolor electric pink.

Some are fondant & some (like butterfly) may be combo or gumpaste.

AHajra,I used spectrum deep pink .I used a combo of fondant and flower paste and flavoured the paste with strawberry oil.

ASorry Hajra,I just checked my other pic on my flickr stream.It's It's a powder not a gel ...the name on the tub says just pink concentrate.
