Fondant "bursting Filling" Decoration??? How Can I Do It??? Help!

How can I apply the middle section of fondant/gum paste faux filling ???

I think it cuold eventually dissatach if I use toothpicks and egg white...

Somebody done this? tutorial???

all i would do is roll a sausage and make it unequal like that so it looked scalloped

 

then cut it so there's a nice flat side to attach it to the cake

 

i think i would apply a few toothpicks under there to hold it up while it dries

 

if i used fondant i'd chill it in that general shape first so it won't stretch so much

 

otherwise i'd use choco clay or a combination of the two

Very cute!  You did an amazing job.  I did this cake in all buttercream a year ago.  I under estimated how hard it would be to get the buttercream to stay.  But it turned out well.
