Was wondering if someone could help me. I am making a 30th birthday cake I am trying to make the number 30 in a standing form out of Rice Kripie recipe. It has all come together really well. Only problem is that the top arch of the 3 is cracking under the weight. I have covered it all in royal icing to get it to a hard state.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to work? I really do not want to use foam. To give you an idea on the size the numbers stand 29 cms tall.

it does not defy gravity as you are learning--you have to put some support in there

the royal will not support it--it needs support just like cake would need it

so think like it was cake

for example use tubing or dowel that is securely formed into the shape--you can get the rkt to adhere with melted choco maybe

it takes some advance engineering
