I am wondering how everyone who does fondant/modeling chocolate/etc. figurines and other items keeps the marks from rubber gloves off of the finished product!? I haven't worked with fondant/modeling chocolate combination yet, but this week's cake will be my first, and it has some hand sculpture.  The wrinkles from my gloves show when I try to roll balls or shape pieces.  Any tricks?

I don't use gloves, but from my experience working in a lab...my guess is your gloves are too big.

I used to use small or extra small and never felt like they would bunch.

I also don't use gloves.  I wash my hands like crazy and keep my nails super short.  But it does sound like you may need smaller gloves.

I don't use gloves for assembly either.  I use them to color the fondant so that I don't stain my hands, then wash thoroughly (i have hot hands) and make sure they are good and dry.  I will even rub a little corn starch or powdered sugar between my hands too so the fondant doesn't get sticky.  Wet hands=sticky messy fondant!
