The purpose of this thread is to give something away so that we all may improve our creative skills.

After all what's worth having good technical skill with no creativity/imagination?!

Our suggestion/opinion is that wend you have a theme for a cake, never start looking for cakes with that theme !!! Start by viewing the cartoons, the comic books, the films

Anything but cakes !!! Only then, and once you have an idea, you'll should go and check if no one has done it before!! That way you won't be doing copies of copies or, by other words, cakes derived from other cakes!!

After all, if you can't be imaginative, you might as well be a "Xerox cake machine"
