Has anyone ever used store bought rice crispies to make things out of to put or a cake instead of making your own thanks.

I haven't. It's much more cost effective to make your own.

yes and it was just a little item and it worked ok--not great exactly but it worked ok

 

so if you were just making a little boxy thing it might be fine but i always make my own plus they taste so much better

do you use them right out of the package or warm them a little in mircowave. how do you use them I will just be making a small object thanks

we used the individual serving size ones and used them at room temp

 

they will squish up in your hands

AI used Kellogs snack size to shaped a 10" beer can & covered w/MMF. Came very nice, pretty solid, less messy and time/messy consuming.[IMG]http://cakecentral.com/content/type/61/id/2966364/width/200/height/400[/IMG]
