Kenwood Mixer Problem

The whisk attachment on my Kenwood Chef mixer, now about 8 years old, doesn't seems reach the

edges of the bowl, so there is always a 3 mm area of cake mix which never gets touched.  I am constantly stopping the machine, and using the spatula to scrape the cake mix into the middle. Any idea or suggestions anyone ?

You can adjust the height of the beater/attachments by using a spanner to loosen the nut on the top of the beater and then adjust by screwing the thread in or out by however much you need, and then tightening the nut again.

 

Hope that's clear enough!  Make sure the whisk is not scraping the bowl, though, as that will damage it.

Hi Lizzie.  Thanks so much for quick response.  Found it easy to adjust & seem to have solved problem. Hope u had good Easter.
