i don't know but i would just buy the right color in the first place or buy white and get ribbon to matchy match perfect
i would not dye them
but i guess regular rit fabric dye--but it's a gamble because you could loose the texture of the 'silk' and it might take the starch out of it and it's a risk which is why i would avoid it
when you use rit you are supposed to use real hot water and you just don't know how it will turn out till you try it
you just need to test it
maybe food color would take on silk flowers--maybe you could mix up the rit and paint it on or dip them in with good results--but maybe it would be affected by humidity or something??
hey there's a bunch of easter egg dye around right now--gonna go on sale soon--maybe that would work?
my best guess is test it & see what you like
thank you and yes it would have been great to just been able
to buy the right color i
to start with which the bride was suppose to do but she didn't
and she has gator orange and blue not
a common color I could find she order the flowers and
see how wedding is tomorrow there was no time to order More
but for future reference rit dye did work and the flowers held up great
I did try food color by itself and it didn't work but I think because
when you dye Easter eggs with food coloring you have to add vinegar
which I had forgot about. Thanks for taking time to try and help me
Debbie
