AI've never tried the quick pour fondant. Made cake pops 2x before & Both times I used candy Melts with some shortening. Don't know if it was the ratio of candy melts to shortening (i didn't use much shortening)! - my problem was getting my entire pop covered from top to bottom, and having a completely smooth finish. I am thinking of trying the quick pour fondant by wilton, has anyone ever tried this with cake pops, or can anyone give me some tips about how to do this with the candy melts to get the whole cake pop covered, and NOT have that "glump" of chocolate left on it? Thanks for any tips! Trying to make them look nice and professional but don't know how!

Make sure you are using a deep bowl or container to melt chocolate in.  Deep enough that when you dip cake pop in it is covered to the stick.  Remove and tap gently on side of bowl.  If the chocolate is too thick you will get that "glumping".  Melted chocolate should have a runny consistency, not like water, but runny.  You may not be using enough shortening.
