I am using the cake boss recipe and it always seems really dry?  Am I over baking?  Can I add something like chocolate pudding?

Thanks!

yes you might be over baking it--

sure you can add something in there and tweak this and that

but there are boat loads of incredible chocolate cakes out there--

lovely chocolate cakes just waiting to be mixed up baked and devoured==

to help out a dry cake you can make a simple syrup splash

and apply it before you ice it--it will help with the issue--

it's a simple syrup which is equal parts sugar and water boiled till sugar dissolves

then add a flavor or not --either way-- a liqueur or an extract and then brush onto cake

helps to let it set for a few hours to do it's thing

the size of the pan, the way your oven heats, the amount of batter, the way you mixed the ingredients--all of these things are factors in getting it to turn out for you--you can do it!!

but you gotta watch each step and keep trying!!!

i'll post one for you--brb
