A[IMG]http://cakecentral.com/content/type/61/id/2961027/width/200/height/400[/IMG] Hi everyone. Ive been asked to make a xake similar to the one in the picture attatched. Im guessing its just layers of round cakes and then covered in fondant...or am i missing something? Looks great and id love to be able to do it. Considering im a beginner, at the moment it seems like a huge task! ! Any help appreciated...thanks

I have never done anything like it but I would use rectangular cakes and carve the top layers to give it that roundish look. Hope someone gives you better advice, good luck!

I would use round cakes. Cut the one side a  flat and then turn the cake on its side. you will then have the rounded shape witout carving.
