How many days in advance can I bake my cupcakes before delivery ? is 2 days too much?

E.g. Because I am a working mum , I can bake on Monday night , decorate on tuesday night and deliver on Wednesday - the customer will consume them only on Wednesday afternoon/Thursday. 

Also if i do bake on Tuesday is it ok for me to decorate them straight away. 

Please advise 

Bake them and freeze them in an airtight container.  On the day of delivery pull them out and decorate them.

Well  if they are wrapped tightly in an airtight container I don't see why they couldn't last for at least 6 months. I figure when you get married they tell you to save the top cake  and eat it one year later on your anniversary.  I'm testing this theory now. I baked cupcakes on Saturday and placed them in the freezer I'm going to wait two weeks take them out and see how they taste. I'll come back and let you know.
