I have a white cake recipe that is wonderful and moist BUT it's not the best for stacking. I have a request from a friend to make her daughter birthday cake which she'd like stacked in 3 layers. HELP! I need a good recipe that will hold up. I'm afraid my cake won't make it with all the layers and I need to cover it in fondant as well. Any suggestions??

WASC is "white almond sour cream" cake.  Type WASC in the search bar for the original WASC recipe.  HTH

If you want a truly wonderful white cake recipe that is from scratch, try Jennifer Bratko's A Better White Cake.  It is on her website fromscratchsf.com.  If you have a recipe that you like, though, you do not need to change it.  Any recipe is fine in a stacked cake, because your internal support system takes the weight.  It is not sitting on the cake.  Just make sure you have an adequate support system planned and it will be fine.
