Is it ok to put real seashells on a cupcake? Is it safe? Should they be with wax paper under or just washed really well? TIA

NO.  Decor on food should be, well, food.  Use gumpaste shells or mold some out of fondant.

That is what I figured my friend ask if I could do this for her but when seeing the shells I didn't feel comfortable, so I will make them white chocolate. Thanks icon_smile.gif
