Have You Found Odd Places To Get Cookie Cutters?

I was in Dollar Tree today, and saw nets full of sand toys to use at the beach. They are molds of fish, Palm trees, crabs, star fish, and so many more. They would make a big cookie, but you'd certainly have a lot to choose from for just a dollar. Also, I was in ACE Hardware, and walking down the galvanized tubing aisle (I don't know what else to call it) I saw an excellent wavy biscuit (cookie) cutter type thing. Again it's a little bigger than normal, but would work perfectly. Anyone else find unusual stores to find something that could be used for a cookie cutter?
Hi. What is the name of the sand toys you found for cookie cutters? Can they be used to cake pops as well? Thanks.
We have two large second-hand stores in the area, GoodWill and Savers. I finally had to stop buying cookie cutters at $1/bag, no more room. I have found cake stands, decorating tools, cookie presses, and variously shaped cake pans. Harbor Freight has a good small torch for warming sugar or warming tools to smooth icing. They also have small soldering irons for making stencils. And, on e-bay, there are sellers from China who offer cookie cutters, molds, and tools at a steal. It takes about two weeks for packages to arrive, but I have never had any problem with them.
I will have to check the Savers over here! Last time I went I wasn't in to baking so much so I didn't pay much attention to the kitchen area.
The plastic toys are about 4 to a fish net. Some are about the size of your hand. You're suppose to put wet sand in them to make molds of star fish, crabs, etc. I wouldn't use them for molds, just press them down on rolled out dough to create the shape.
Just a little word of caution with the ace hardware biscuit cutter if it is an instrument not intended to be food safe a lot of that metal is coated with an oil in its constrction that is not food safe. That being said I have also found some great dollar store finds. We have a non dollar tree dollar store and they always have cool odd cutters and shaped ice cube trays (great fondant molds)
