Hi all!  This is my first time asking my own question but y'all are always so helpful here!  I have been asked to make a marble care for this weekend and it will be my first time making one since I stopped using doctored mixes.  My vanilla cake batter is very thick while my chocolate batter is very thin.  I am concerned about how well they are going to marble and bake when they are such opposite consistencies.  What do you think??

i do that all the time.  i use more vanilla batter than choc, tho. the 1st one i did, i used 1/2 van, 1/2 choc and it almost ended up pure choc. so now i always use a 2:1 ratio. seems to work and makes a really cool marble effect. do a few trial cakes with different ratios to see what works best. good luck.
