AI have a big weekend this weekend with 4 cakes to do and I have woken up sick! I can't get off the couch! I don't know what to do I don't want to let these people down. I am the only cake decorator in town. Has anyone been in this situation before?

AHi if you have been sick you are not meant to make food for the public until 48 hours have passed from last being sick

Surely there's somebody else within 100 miles who could take over the jobs for you.

AThe next cake maker or bakery is at least 2 hrs drive away. They aren't wedding cakes just birthday cakes. So I don't think these people would drive that far to get their cakes :/

I had a cake due on a Saturday, but got sick the Sunday before...couldn't get off the couch/bed for several days....I called on Wednesday to say I could not do the cake, as not only felt horrible, I didn't want to get anyone else sick.  I wouldn't want to eat a cake made by someone who was sick so I just figured no one else would either.  Feel better soon!
