I was wondering, for those who do the decorated cookies, do you charge less for fondant decorated cookies than you do for royal icing cookies? Our RI decorated cookies start at $3.00 per cookie for a basic round 3 inch cookie. Beyond that it just depends on how elaborate the decor is. But what about cookies decorated with fondant cut-outs? I haven't done much of them, but to me it seems like a lot less work and stress than trying to get that perfect smooth finish with flooding RI. Just wondering how everyone else does it! Thanks!

I understand why you ask - I've wondered the same thing.  But remember, fondant is a lot more expensive than RI.  Even if you make your own, your time and materials cost more.  I charge by diameter and detail, and not RI versus fondant.  It seems to even out, and my clients have never questioned.  Hope this helps!
