I've made many cakes using all different brands of fondant and I have never had a problem with the fondant tearing while I'm covering a cake but this last week it kept tearing and I kept on redoing it. I even switched brands to see if that would make a difference. Nothing worked. Could it possibly have something to do with the weather? I have made most of my cakes over the winter months and now it is warming up and I was running my cooler when I was working on this cake but I did turn it off to see if that would help and it didn't seem to. Please help me if you can. Thank you.
