I airbrushed a cake with a beautiful red that was the exact color I was looking for.  However, when it dried it turned really dark almost burgandy.  What can I do to lighten it without airbrushing pearl over it.  Any help?

AHave you got any white paint for your airbrush? I got some in a kit and never thought I'd use it but it's great for lightening the other colours without diluting.
