Ahey everyone! So I'm afraid I have a wedding cake request that is nearly impossible! (Not really but I get a headache just looking at the pic! ) the customer emailed me the specifications and I drew up the design I haven't sent this to the customer yet in fear that I'm in over my head. My question is ... how do I even BEGIN to sturdy that wonder woman? The bat mobile and bat man I'm confident with as the car will be foam covered in fondant.but I'm sincerely concerned about my lady here. Any suggestions on defiying gravity?

Unless I'm missing something, I just see her standing on what would be the cake board? You'd either need wires or toothpicks inserted in to the cake board that you can slip her legs on top of, or something similar.

you could hide something in her hair to stick into the side of the cake to keep her upright

her hair could be brushing up against the side of the cake

under normal circumstances hair + cake just say no

but it would work in this case icon_biggrin.gif

that's a very cool design!!!

AYes shed be on the cake board I'm afraid she'll end up being top heavy though. Would it be better to make a full skeleton out of wire? Or would the tooth pics suffice? We're talking about 5 inches high or so

So your drawing is not to scale...unless you're making a what, 9" tall cake? Definitely thought that was a small figurine. I would be tempted to make a metal armature as well in that case.
