Does anyone know how long i have to wait until I can remove them from the veining sheet?
let's see once again ad libbing from stidman/simmons book, gelatin in bloom
which i think you already made your pieces but anyway for the record
- you can put a fan on slow to hasten the drying
- they sit for 3-6 hours depending on humidity
- don't get antsy and pull early
- they release themseves when crinkled & dry
i really need to do some projects like you are always doing and rocking btw
you are very inspiring
AThank you Memphis! What a nice thing to say!!! I found that if I let them dry on their own for about an hour and then hit them with my hair drier for about 5 minutes, they'd come flying out if the mold! Trouble is, I lost some on the kitchen floor!!! HaHa!!! Not sure the look was worth the effort...

that's a beautiful display--wonderful coloration between cupcakes and tablecloth
animal print + paisley (maybe more jacobean but...) are you kidding me--very well done
the wings look real!!!
so were they all eaten???
is this your first time doing this -- or has it yielded any clients yet???
AOut of 3 dozen there was only 4 left! This is the first time I've tried getting a business to put out my cupcakes and cards. It didn't cost the store anything so they were all for it! I was just trying to get some exposure... So far no calls for orders though :(
