Are some of you really taking orders via text messages and FB messages? - Page 4

I have a price guide note on my page whose contents are the same as a word document that I attach to emails. I give the note link to those who enquire via fb msgs. I give details to anyone, no matter what means they use to enquire. I only confirm orders after receiving my deposit. Same things that happen via fb still happen via email. Most who are not serious back off when I mention deposit (email or fb). I have transacted professionaly thru fb with no problems at all.

To clarify, I am comparing FB with an online order form that automatically sends results via email, not just a regular exchange of emails. From a process perspective, accepting orders via email without an order form is on the same level as an exchange of FB messages. Having a reference document customers can refer to helps, but it still adds an extra step compared to building that reference document into the order form itself.
