I want to get a stand mixer as I've been making cakes for two years with a hand mixer but I don't have enough money for a top of he range one, equally I want to spend enough that it really lasts so I've been looking at the kenwood kmix which is available for £290 and the kenwood chef which is a bit more. I have looked at kitchen aids but in the uk they are just too much at £420.
The kmix looks the best and is the best price but does anyone know if it would be as good as the chef? The power is a lot less, 500w instead if 1000w but then I noticed kites aids are just 350w ? I bake 3-5 times a month. Mainly madiea and fruit cakes but I'd like to start making bread to.
