i was watching the take the cake challenge on food network again for the 5 time .........and started wondering if any of my CC buddies would be there ? I then started thinking there are probably tons of contest everywhere which one do you enter?

I've been searching for contests in the NYC area thinking there would be alot. I can't find any! If anyone knows of any...please inform me....

Unfortunately I can't travel cause I have 2 little ones so I was hoping for something closeby. I have decided to enter the Wilton contest....I think the deadline is 9/30. I can e-mail the photos so it will work out. The Grand prize, however, is the Master course...somewhere in the midwest...that I won't be able to go to anyway! Talk about irony! (assuming I win, of course)

I enter the San Diego Cake Club's Confections on Parade contest benefiting MDA every March. This year will be my third year and this is going to be my first time entering a cake.

The first year I entered the Novelty non-cake category with cookies and took first place! Those cookies are posted in my pics and cookie gallery. This past March was my second time entering and I entered cookies again but didn't place but I also entered hand molded chocolate and won second place. Those are in my pics as well.

This coming up March I'll be going back down and entering in three categories including a cake. I'm brave enough to do it this year.

i'm going to be entering a cake in the 1st Annual Cake and Sugar Arts Show next month. the theme is "New Beginnings" and i'm still trying to figure out what to do! i can enter 4 different things for divisions in my category.

yes i loved watching the show sunday and now that you say that i think i'll turn on the dvr and watch it again!
