well being the everlasting skeptic--the knife has few cake crumbs on it

 

not saying it didn't happen as stated just that the icing smear on the knife must have been dry & hard as a rock to stay so even

 

in fact it has the same blue icing on it & around it like it might have been used to cut a similar cake--not saying it did just saying it looks different than i would have thought a knife buried under a cake might look--'course i've never seen one either
