I have one for y'all if you would be so kind.

 

Made for my neighbor's wife who was turning 50-something and is into cardmaking - scrapbooking as a hobby.  I made several card faces for decorations in the colors of her choice.  I am aware the ribbon around the top tier is wonky, the fondant just wouldn't firm up.  Other than that, I feel it is missing something that would have just pulled the whole thing together.  That is my greatest weakness, the final details.

I honestly threw this together in like 15 minutes after procrastinating all day and working on the wedding cake. I was happy with it, because it's not one of those fondant/airbrushed ones. Wanted realism. What could I do (if anything) for next time?

Ah, there's gotta be something! Next time, I would make it with more "stuff"...meat showing, more veggies, something. :D

Red fondant, inndented where it needed to be, and brushed with corn syrup and water with some red food color powder mixed in. I also rolled tiny balls of white fondant and flattened the into seed shapes, and pressed those on before brushing the liquid on. Fun cake to make, and literally the easiest thing I've ever made.

I was going to put my cheeseburger cake up for critique but after seeing your sandwich...probably not. LOL!

I was thinking the same thing. I made a picnic table with burger and hot dogs and chips, but that sandwich is too good.

I kinda want to eat a sandwich now...
