Hi All,
So I've been obsessing over this artist I really like and I keep trying to find an excuse to make a cake inspired by his work. It would take forever (this has been like a three year obsession of mine) and I have yet to find a good excuse to make it. So I am thinking about doing it for the Orange County Fair. I am waiting to hear back from the artist to see if he'd be okay if I did a cake inspired by his work, but I have a concern with the color combo. I want to do it in blue, green and purple. I am worried that the purple will fade since it's going to be sitting out for nearly a month. Also, I am pretty sure that there was a good amount of light at the location they left the entries last summer. Is there anything I can do to prevent fading? Or do I just need to give up my color combo and go a different route?
Any help you can give would be appreciated! :) Thank you!
