Hi, I just got some new/used supplies from a friend. He gave me a set of about 50 decorating tips which is awesome, only these tips don't have any numbers on them! I have no idea what they are used for. I COULD try each one of them out but jeesh, that will take a really long time. I have Wilton's tips and a book that shows me what each tip is used for. Does anyone have any tips like these, what brand are they? And is there a website I can look at to figure these tips out? Any ideas would be great! Thank you!!

Ok, I probably should have said that this new set of tips That I have is NOT the same as my Wilton tips that I already had...... My Wilton tips came in a decorators kit box with all kinds of other tools and the Wilton book also came with the kit and it showed me what each tip is used for. But this new set of tips that my friend gave me, they don't have numbers on them. Just to clarify.. I still need help please and thank you.

Here's the basic tips from wilton:

I would just divide your tips into these categories and store them that way.

Someone gave them to him so he wasn't sure. He just tried them out one by one and played around decorating cakes for only a couple months. I think once he realized how much work goes into baking/decorating a professional looking cake, he decided it wasn't for him, and sold all of his stuff to me... LOL

Thanks a lot! I didn't even think to check info from Wilton... (Dur-dur-durrr) silly me.. I was thinking I needed to find out what brand they were first, and then check out that website... But that page is very informative about the decorating tips . Even though they may not be Wilton's, they are basically the same as the Wilton's tips I see in those pictures, and now I know what i can use them for! Awesome
