My sister is having a baby and I am planning the shower on a very tiny budget. I am in the middle of a huge me pretty much across the county so things are tight.
I wanted to do a baby but I can't find a mold in any store near. So I seen these Mary Jane shoes I would like to try an make, the rest of the cake is still up in the air. Talking about budget, I use mmf but never anything like gum paste. Is there a way to make it, but with out the tex stuff you find in the stores. It's not a pretty penny here at all, even buying it premade. I seen someone say something about gelatine. I do have some if that, can this be done or is there another other way. Any advise welcomed also. Her shower is next weekend on the 9th.
